Spring Recreational Soccer

MUST READ: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there have been some changes to how we will run our recreational soccer program. Before registering for the upcoming Spring Season, please familiarize yourselves with the information below.

Spectator Policy - March 11th Update

Due to COVID restrictions and Oregon Health Authority guidelines, our Club only allows a certain number of people on each field (players, referees, staff, etc) during Club events.

Recently, Multnomah County has transitioned into a Moderate risk level for Covid-19.  With this transition, we will be allowing at least one spectator per player for our trainings and matches during the Spring season as long as we remain in the moderate risk level.  Spectators will be capped at a certain amount depending on the age group and field size. We will pass along more details in the near future.

We want to make it clear that the safety of the players, coaches and families are our Club's top priority. We will continue to work in accordance with the Oregon Health Authority guidelines which can get changed and updated at any time, and if that happens, we will update our members accordingly.

Please follow these that have been established so that we can have give these players the opportunity to play the game that we all love.

Mask Policy

At this time, the state and local authorities require all players and staff to wear masks at all times, and spectators are not allowed at practices and league games at this time.  While we hope these rules will change in the future, we want families to know the rules required at this time to participate in soccer. We will notify our membership when these rules are updated. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

April 8th Update

Due to field space we have had to start some teams a week later. We have a shortage of field space due to some parks and schools not being open.

We are still in need of coaches. We rely on parents, family members and friends to take on this role. If you coach you get your registration fee refunded back to you. You will get help from another coach you just need to be able to have fun!

We have worked hard on scheduling and getting fields but we do not have as many as we previously had. This means some teams may have to have to play week day games and start at 8am on a Saturday. We will try and avoid this but I wanted you to be prepared and not surprised if this happens.

We are the only recreation league happening on the Eastside. We were not going to cancel another season due to not having enough fields and the extra work that has to be done to stay within the protocols due to COVID. I appreciate your support and cooperation. More details will follow next week regarding protocols for spectators. We are currently working on this and waiting to be advised by the people who are renting us their fields.

If you ordered a uniform this should be delivered to you by April 23. If you are in need of a uniform please let me know what size you need.
