Glenn Rogers Bio

Coach Glenn has been with Eastside since the club's beginning in 2001.  Glenn has coached several teams throughout his tenure here, but Glenn is also an Executive Board Member for the club as well.  Glenn grew up in Tacoma, Washington before moving down to Portland to attend Warner Pacific University.  After his time at Warner, Glenn signed with the Portland Timbers and competed there for 2 years.  Glenn also competed with the Cascade Surge after his time with the Timbers before transitioning into coaching.  

Glenn began coaching at his alma mater Warner Pacific and worked there for several years.  During this time, he also coached many Eastside teams on the boys and girls side.  Glenn has won numerous titles with Eastside, including a State Cup & President's Cup.  Glenn has also coached with the Oregon ODP program and with the Portland Timbers U23s.  Glenn has three boys who have all played for Eastside.  His oldest son, Keegan Rogers, is the club's marketing director, the B08 Red & G08 Red 2 Head Coach, and was a former professional goalkeeper who competed with  Eastside.  His middle son, Austin Rogers, played his youth soccer at Eastside and is currently a professional goalkeeper who has played in several countries over seas.  Glenn's youngest son, Cameron Rogers, also competed with Eastside & has had opportunities to compete with the US Paralympic National team.
