Eastside Timbers Community Center
A Transformational Project for East Multnomah County

Our Mission

Eastside Timbers Soccer Club, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our community in East Multnomah County through sports, youth development, and economic growth. Our vision is to create a space where youth can thrive, families can gather, and businesses can grow.

Project Overview

We are building the Eastside Timbers Community Center, a 43,000 sq. ft. multi-use facility in Gresham, designed to serve as a hub for sports, community engagement, and local business development. The project has received full permitting from the City of Gresham and is ready for construction. With $6 million already secured in donations and financing, we are seeking an additional $7 million in capital funding support to bring this project to life.

We are the Eastside Timbers Youth Soccer Club, representing 3,500 kids in East County, from the Columbia River to the Clackamas River and I-205 to Welches/Corbett. We have an 11-acre complex with three turf soccer fields, lights, and parking. This was Phase I, and we are now permitted to build Phase II: a Community Event Center.

Why This Matters

East Multnomah County lacks essential recreational and community spaces, leaving thousands of children and families without access to quality athletic programs and economic opportunities. This project will directly impact over 85,000 school-aged youth within a 15-mile radius by providing:

  • Multi-sport facility for futsal, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and more.

  • A versatile event space for business conferences, community gatherings, and youth programs.

  • Leasable spaces for small businesses, fostering local entrepreneurship and economic sustainability.

The Need for Your Support

Your investment in the Eastside Timbers Community Center will:

  • Support one of the fastest-growing youth populations in the nation.

  • Ensure access to quality athletic and community spaces in an underserved region.

  • Promote economic sustainability by creating opportunities for local businesses.

By the Numbers
  • Gresham has seen a 30.4% increase in young children over the past five years.

  • The under-5 population in Gresham has grown by 59.3% in the last decade, the highest growth rate in the U.S.

  • 45.5% of children in Gresham are under the age of 5, underscoring the urgent need for youth-focused infrastructure.
